'Twas the weekend before Christmas,
And the wives weren't near.
So you know what that means,
The boys will drink beer!

Two Christmas Ales in,
There came a suggestion in jest.
"Let's record Christmas songs
instead of talking about this tax reform mess!"

Outside Morrison Mansion,
With a song and a dream.
They plotted and played
Through their holiday scheme.

Wise cracks, wise men,
and songs in Espanol.
The clock struck near midnight,
So they tracked gang vocal.

They soon scurried to bed,
Heads full of holiday songs and pride.
But the next morning Zach said,
"That vocal track's not mine!"

"Alas, yes it is,
And we will not recut!"
Cam started to mix,
Zach had no chance to rebut.

So, the vocals aren't perfect,
Intonation out the door.
Rhythm section might need work,
But it's still better than tax reform.

Lend an ear if you choose,
And if you want it to sound better.
Have a few Egg Nog sips,
Before you start this endeavor.
